Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary site team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the clients project manager.
Client & Contractor Coordination
- Liaise daily with the Client and EPCM Contractor on technical legal and contractual matters.
- Coordinate works to ensure compliance with contract specifications and project schedules.
Project Oversight
- Oversee the development and implementation of the power plant project.
- Monitor project progress address delays and ensure timely completion.
- Approve key deliverables and make critical technical and commercial decisions.
Contractual & Commercial Management
- Handle all contractual and commercial aspects of the project.
- Initiate and manage contract changes and claims against contractors.
Qualifications :
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience with at least 10 years as a Project Manager.
- Proven experience in sitebased project particularly in power plant projects.
- Experience with power plant consultants EPC/EPCM contractors and gas turbine OEMs.
- Familiarity with tendering contracts and plant performance especially in the Middle East.
- Consultancy experience managing projects of 350 MW and above is an added advantage.
Regional Expertise
- GCC/UAE experience is mandatory.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
- A Masters degree in the power sector is an advantage.
Certifications
- PMP certification is an advantage.
