Electrical Engineer (FPSO/FSO/FLNG)

Report to: Electrical Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support procurement of electrical packages : technical bid evaluations vendor documents review (during bid phase and during fabrication followup.

Comment and validate documentation issued by Engineering Contractor.

Attend FAT/SAT.

Support during construction and precommissioning. Address site queries.

Assist for site commissioning and startup as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate Engineer (ideally electrical engineering)

English speaking. French will be highly appreciated.

8 years experience minimum

Required experience

Exprience in marine / retrofit (FSO FPSO)

Experience with EHouse including HVAC

Experience in Oil & Gas either for an engineering company or for an EPC Contractor

Experience in the followup of Vendors for electrical Equipment (HV &LV switchgears transformers UPS bulk items) and Ehouse

Experience in construction followup

Experience in precommissioning commissioning & troubleshooting is a strong plus.

Able to execute and check calculation notes (with ETAP software or equivalent) for cable sizing shortcircuit motor starting

Team player Proactive Good problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and presentation skills

Position based in Dubai for about 2 years with missions in Gabon at the end of the project for site commissioning activities.
