Field Local Operator

Responsibilities & Duties
1 Monitor all panel boards of his assigned area and record properly and efficiently all relevant readings on log sheet. 2 Ensure and control all operation parameters/load on the machineries/equipments to meet specified demand conditions. 3 Report to Superior (Head Operator/Shift Manager/Assistant Shift Manager) for all abnormalities in meter readings. 4 Start or stop machineries/equipments as instructed by his Superior. 5 Check periodically and ensure proper operation of machineries/equipments. 6 Direct, supervise and co-ordinate the work with the assigned operators for Local. 7 To countersign the local log sheets. 8 To write down the log book as per his Superior’s instructions. 9 Cleaning of control panels assigned to his area.
10 Log down measurements, readings and operating condition/parameters of all machineries/equipments assigned to him.
11 As part of the emergency respond team in the event of Plant Emergencies as per Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Response Management Procedure.
13 Any other duties assigned by the Shift Manager.

• Expert for local operation in Water & Power Plant.
• Skills & knowledge of equipment’s.
• Skills to operate different type of pumps.
• Skills to operate different type of Valves.

Organizational Relationships

Reports to : CCR Operators/ Operations Engineer/Asst Shift Manager/Shift Manager

EHS Responsibility

1. Bring up EHS concerns to the attention of his direct supervisor or EHS department.

2. Be vigilant in the work area, identify and report to their Supervisors about imminent dangers / hazards / concerns to environment, health and safety.
3. Always follow the standard operations control procedures so as to avoid any activity which might lead to EHS incidents / nonconformities.
4. Follow environment health and safety practices on and off duty.

BCM Responsibilities
1. Aware about his responsibilities in different Operations aspects in BCM.
2. Active participation in BCM related activities such as trainings, exercises and mock drills.
