Managing the relations with Real Estate landlords, building management, and local authorities for all t-mart related issues in UAE (~37 stores)

What’s On Your Plate?

Fully end-to-end leadership of store scouting/signing/launch activities (when required) by coordinating with real estate agents to find new locations, conducting site visits, ensuring all requirements are met etc. and ensuring that these new locations meet different requirements (logistics, operations, legal, etc.

Ensure that all tmart locations (new and existing) are equipped with all legal, technical and commercial requirements at all times (and address any violations or gaps if it exists)

Full ownership of all store leases, including renewals, negotiating prices, requirements on tennant etc.

Proactively develop ideas and work with building management and operations on cost and performance improvement initiatives (e.g. air conditioning changes, improving parking situation, etc.)

Full end-to-end ownership of all legal approvals and requirements for obtaining necessary licenses for the business (e.g. new activities, new types of products, new regulations, etc.) in all Emirates (each with its own set of guidelines)

Create protocols & SOPs & trackers for the escalation process and issues between the company, landlords, building management, and government entities / authorities

To be the POC and have full end-to-end ownership of handling and coordinating all escalated issues and incidents across the tmart UAE (e.g. police violations, supporting on rider-issues, etc.) and coordinaing with different functions to ensure issues are fully resolved (e.g. logistics, ops, etc.)

Act as the responsible liaison for different functions (e.g. commercial, ops, etc.) with external parties in government and municipality to ensure they adhere to the proper guidelines

Candidate will be based in Dubai however is expected to work in and travel to all seven Emirates
