What you will be doing:
• Even when you’re at the reception late at night, you’ll make sure that guests aren’t just contented, but enthusiastic
• You’ll make sure that the cash register accounts are done and the day’s receipts are checked before everybody wakes up again
• You’ll be available through the night as a contact person for all your guests’ needs
• You’ll be making regular safety inspection tours to make sure no-one gets lost in the building and everything’s peaceful and safe
• You’ll follow up invoicing of no-shows by credit cards, ledger accounts after 2-day grace.
• You’ll monitor credit limits stringently, inform FOM when exceeding limitations.
• You’ll spot check all outlets on cash ensuring cash boxes are equal to cash machine readings
• You’ll prepare and provide the daily reports, control reports (house account revenue and statistics).
Your experience and skills include:
• You’ve completed a course of training in the hotel business, gained some management experience and can speak English fluently
• You can inspire your fellow staff just as you can inspire your guests. On top of this, you know your way around town and always have tips for partying up your sleeve
• You’re a doer – and even if you do it wrong sometimes, you openly admit it
• You’re not just bringing your abilities, but also your character
