Architect

• Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design applications

• Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects

• Working around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget

• Applying for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments

• Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts

• Specifying the requirements for the project

• Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction

• Playing a part in project and team management

• Travelling regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

• Design experience

• Must be able to discuss the objectives, requirements, and budget of a project.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project scheduling software.

• Must be have a degree and registered architect.

• Minimum five year’s experience as an architect.

• Must be proficient in Auto-CAD 2012 or later

• Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.

• Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
