Job Description

We create memories for our guests and fellow Heartists® offering personalized experiences with a Glocalized urban touch. We discover together and are flexible to our guest’s discerning needs.

The Role:
• He is responsible to ensure that the guests arriving and leaving the Adagio ApartHotel Dubai Deira are warmly greeted and that assistance is offered quickly. He will be active in performing the various tasks of the Bell Desk section and will be willing to help the guest at any time. All guests passing by the Front Door will be greeted by the Bell Attendant with a warm smile and positive attitude.

The schedule of the Bell Attendant will rotate 24 hours a day.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

Planning & Organizing:
• Coordinates with the Front Office the room numbers and tag numbers to ensure that the correct numbers are collected.
• Keeps the luggage room clean and organized.
• Once a month, the Bell Attendant will participate at the Bell Desk Committee and will bring with dynamism and initiatives all the questions, case studies & new ideas to be considered and discussed.
• The Bell Attendant is responsible to follow all standard and procedures established at Adagio ApartHotel Dubai Deira.

Operations:
• The Bell Attendant will stand in the following areas when no job task has to be done:
• in front of the hotel door, outside
• In the lobby (To welcome the guests and give them quick assistance when required)
• Participates actively in welcoming warmly and greeting the guest as soon as he arrives at the hotel.
• Assists Car Valet in opening the car doors.
• When the Car Valet is busy or absent, to pick up quickly the luggage from the car's boot and to send them to the Bell Desk Area.
• Helps the Security in clearing the traffic in the front of the hotel during busy hours.
• Assists in opening the hotel doors for the guests.
• Calls taxi for guest and record their registration number carefully.
• Pro-actively offers umbrellas to the hotel guests, when needed.
• Sends the luggage to the store room when it is required and to keep full records.
• Cleans the trolleys used by the Bell Desk.
• Delivers the newspapers to the guest rooms.
• Brings the messages to the guests rooms.
• * Guest Services: The Bell Attendant will assist the guest with information and direction.
• Privacy: The Bell Attendant will be attentive to respect the privacy/confidentiality of all the guests.
