Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Tower Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilitys systems and equipment. This role requires a detailoriented and collaborative professional who can efficiently handle a wide range of maintenance tasks while providing excellent customer service.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively
- Operate and maintain safety systems including fire alarms and emergency equipment
- Read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints manuals and specifications
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities inventory and equipment status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and local building codes and regulations
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies
- Assist in the development and implementation of energysaving initiatives and sustainable practices
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role with a minimum of one year of experience preferred
- Proficiency in various building trades including electrical plumbing HVAC and carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge of building automation systems and energy management
- Familiarity with safety systems and fire alarm panels
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with fluency in English
- Proficiency in using computer systems including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays as required
- Valid UAE work visa or eligibility to obtain one
- College degree in Engineering Facilities Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Relevant certifications (e.g. HVAC electrical) are highly desirable
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
