Job Description
Our client is a leading company specializing in the international trade of fast moving consumer food products. With a strong global presence the company ensures seamless importexport operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
1. Managing Logistics & Supply Chain Operations
- Coordinate import and export logistics ensuring timely and costeffective transportation.
- Oversee the endtoend supply chain from supplier coordination to final delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations customs procedures and Incoterms.
- Manage shipping documentation including invoices packing lists and customs declarations.
2. Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers freight forwarders and customs brokers to optimize delivery timelines.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any logistical issues proactively.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with international shipping and distribution partners.
3. Process Optimization & Cost Management
- Track and analyze key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) such as shipping costs transit times and inventory levels.
- Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations in global trade.
4. Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
- Address and resolve any transportation or customsrelated delays.
- Implement best practices to enhance logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain operations to support business growth.
Required Skills & Expertise
Strong experience in logistics import/export coordination and international supply chain management.
Indepth knowledge of customs regulations Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
Experience in the food industry or FMCG sector is a plus.
Excellent problemsolving and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced international environment.
Proficiency in logistics management systems and ERP tools.
Profile
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management International Trade or Logistics.
Personal Attributes: Strong organizational and analytical skills attention to detail adaptability and the ability to work under pressure.
