Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Location: Dubai UAE

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining our patients' oral health through preventive dental care and patient education. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical skills a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- 1. Perform dental hygiene procedures including dental cleanings scaling and root planing to remove plaque tartar and stains from patients' teeth.
- 2. Conduct comprehensive oral assessments and screenings to identify oral health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- 3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques including brushing flossing and dietary habits to promote optimal oral health.
- 4. Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to prevent tooth decay and cavities.
- 5. Take dental Xrays and assist the dentist in evaluating dental radiographs for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- 6. Perform periodontal charting and assist in periodontal therapy procedures as needed.
- 7. Provide support during dental surgery procedures including assisting the dentist preparing surgical instruments and maintaining a sterile surgical environment.
- 8. Assist in cosmetic dentistry procedures such as teeth whitening dental bonding and veneer placement to enhance patients' smiles and confidence.
- 9. Assist in general dentistry procedures including fillings crowns and extractions to address patients' dental needs and maintain oral health.
- 10. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records including treatment plans progress notes and clinical findings.
- 11. Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- 12. Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- 13. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques technology and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
- 1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- 2. Valid Dental Hygienist license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
- 3. Minimum of insert number years of experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
- 4. Proficiency in performing dental hygiene procedures including scaling polishing and periodontal therapy.
- 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively educate and communicate with patients.
- 6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.
- 7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- 8. Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and patient needs.
- 9. Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.
