Roles and responsibilities
Our assistant product manager is analytical and data-driven individuals who are responsible for building products end-to-end, with a focus on analyzing and experimenting until our solutions are perfectly tailored to our travelers. As an assistant product manager for Martech, you should have a background in working with web technologies and managing delivery teams. We expect you to have a hands-on mentality and spend considerable time with your SCRUM teams, have enthusiasm to develop engineered processes and technologies, and apply innovative solutions to make organizational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Sprint Planning, Execution and Product Rollout.
- Manage the entire Agile Lifecycle, from grooming to backlog review, daily standups, solutioning, and final delivery.
- Use Agile methodology to define product functionality, create user stories, and align with stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Ensure the execution of operational and configuration tasks within all Martech streams.
- Accountable for the roadmap that guides and monitors the development and launch plan for all products (websites/applications).
- Understand technical topics at a conceptual level as well as the systems and data that enable major capabilities.
- Data-driven Decisions.
- Make informed, data-driven decisions based on analytics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration.
- Able to clearly understand problem statements from the business and define efficient and scalable solutions to drive long term value.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design experimentation framework and feedback loop.
- Conduct experiments, test performance, and iterate rapidly.
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Marketing, Content, Core Product, and UX teams to deliver solutions aligned with the KPIs and company objectives.
- Communicate with other Product Manager(s) to ensure alignment across products in multiple product families.
Desired candidate profile
- We are open to considering Engineers who are looking to transition into Product Management as well.
- 2 or more years of experience in stakeholder management, team collaboration, etc.
- 2 or more years of experience in ongoing learning, development, and innovation.
- Experience and willingness to operate in Agile delivery framework.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline).
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English) with a proven ability to convey complex messages clearly and with conviction to different stakeholders.
- Experience developing and launching products.
- Hands-on mentality, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
