Job Purpose:
The role involves overseeing and managing the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure vehicles and processes meet quality standards and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have leadership skills attention to detail and the ability to implement quality assurance protocols. The position requires collaboration with crossfunctional teams to identify prevent and resolve quality issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee automotive inspections during receiving PDI (PreDelivery Inspection) and postrepair processes.
- Identify assess and report damages accidents or missing parts to relevant departments (Management Procurement Warehouse Finance Logistics and Vehicle Procurement).
- Ensure accurate documentation including incident and QC reports and update systems (NS SharePoint etc.).
- Implement and enhance inspection checklists and ensure consistent crosschecking of vehicle specifications.
- Maintain high standards during fleet vehicle inspections modifications and repairs.
- Liaise with Procurement Logistics and Warehouse teams to address issues and maintain quality control standards.
- Coordinate random and monthly inspections for showroom and fleet vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles meet internal and external quality standards before delivery.
- Monitor and document all qualityrelated activities ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.
Skills Required:
- Strong automotive knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Data analysis capabilities to generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QA tools; ERP knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in quality assurance Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001 Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Familiarity with PreDelivery Inspection (PDI) processes
