You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Foreman is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations related to maintenance and emergency callouts at assigned real estate properties. The role includes ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of materials as per Material Requisitions (MR), coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that emergency situations are promptly resolved in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Job Accountabilities
Supervise and manage daily operations on assigned work sites, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
Coordinate with technicians, safety officers, team leaders, and relevant stakeholders to address emergency callouts effectively and efficiently.
Ensure the procurement of materials, tools, and supplies are in line with Material Requisitions (MR) and within the required time frame.
Maintain and monitor the inventory of spare parts, consumables, and materials to ensure availability for routine and emergency maintenance activities.
Research market trends to source best value products, suppliers, and materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate personnel deployment for site operations, prioritizing emergency callouts and urgent maintenance needs.
Respond quickly to emergency situations, ensuring full communication and effective resolution with relevant team members and stakeholders.
Attend toolbox talks and team meetings with safety officers, technicians, and supervisors to ensure safety standards are met.
Ensure compliance with company procedures for material procurement, handling, and site operations.
Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate safety risks on-site.
Recommend cost-saving measures for procurement and maintenance activities while ensuring quality and operational efficiency.
Monitor and report on the budget for site operations, ensuring adherence to financial and operational targets.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the Property Supervisor / Line Manager on the status of site operations, procurement activities, and any emergency interventions.
Maintain proper documentation of materials purchased, work completed, and safety inspections as required.
Perform other administrative duties as requested by the Property Supervisor or Head of Department, ensuring smooth operation of the site.
Qualifications & Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction, Engineering, Maintenance) is a plus.
