Job Description
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team based in Dubai and oversee the procurement operation of the United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies managing supplier relationships and ensuring costeffective acquisition of services plant and material.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals fostering a collaborative and highperforming work environment
- Analyze market trends supplier performance and spending patterns to identify costsaving opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Implement and maintain procurement policies procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand and meet their procurement needs
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to payment
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and vendors
- Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and risk management strategies
- Utilize procurement software and ERP systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Stay informed about industry trends regulations and best practices in procurement
- Prepare and present procurement performance reports to senior management
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement preferably in major infrastructure or transportation projects
- Indepth knowledge of procurement strategies processes and best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor management
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- Strong decisionmaking abilities and capacity to analyze complex situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and practices
- Experience in metro or mass transit projects is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint
