Lead the digital finance team and ensure Finance IT solutions are effectively implemented maintained and upgraded for the Middle East region.
Accelerate and automate internal financial reporting connecting available database and ensure transparency integrity and right access to the data (including access rights and SOD).
Assist with our Group financial reporting for the Middle East and Business Manager to streamline their digital process when required.
Maintain and develop the most adequate Financial IT landscape for the Middle East region ensuring financial tools are maintained updated and efficiently interfaced. This includes implementation of any new tools and act potentially as project manager.
Manage various Middle East Applications e.g. Sun Systems ERP Odoo Hyperion Sun COLLECT etc.
Promote develop and maintain Microsoft power tools (Power BI Power automate SharePoint) in order to accelerate financial processes aligning business needs and best practices.
Ensure the access rights are regularly review documented and any SOD violation identified and mitigated.
Develop procedures to adhere to group principles and mitigate associated risk.
Liaise with Group and Regional IT teams and business teams when required sharing and learning best practices.
Good accounting knowledge to assist the financial team with various financial requirement
Qualifications :
University degree in Data Science IT or computer science with great appetite for new technology (Automation digitalization and Artificial intelligence)
At least 5 years previous experience in managing and/or implementation of applications
Solid understanding of databases data structures ability to work with various database management systems and good knowledge of programing language such as Python
Candidate should be proficient in SQL
Proficient user of Microsoft 365 system (Power BI Powe automate & SharePoint)
Ideally exposure to Oracle Odoo Sun system and Hyperion
Accounting and reporting experience is desirable
Fluent in English an additional language would be an advantage
Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong Project management and Microsoft Office skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Conscientiousness and reliability in delivering according to strict deadlines
Ability to identify deficiencies and suggest the appropriate solutions
Excellent presentation and communication skills to present to management and/or stakeholders
Ability to share knowledge and work in a team environment
