Job Description
Guildhall is seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to join our clients team for an exciting bridge construction project in Ras Al Khaimah. Our client is a leading construction and engineering firm specializing in largescale infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop maintain and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6. Coordinate with project teams including contractors engineers and consultants to ensure accurate project timelines and resource allocation. Provide regular progress reports to senior management highlighting any potential delays risks or issues and recommending corrective actions. Evaluate project performance and forecast future progress based on analysis of data and schedules. Assist in preparing detailed project plans including milestones deadlines and deliverables. Manage the integration of procurement logistics and resources into the project schedule. Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays. Ensure that all project activities comply with local regulations safety standards and quality requirements. Collaborate with the site team to resolve scheduling conflicts and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Support the project manager in cost management by identifying any potential cost overruns linked to scheduling issues.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in planning for building construction and infrastructure projects with significant experience in bridge construction. Proficiency in Primavera P6 software (essential). Strong understanding of project management scheduling and resource planning for largescale construction projects. Experience in managing complex infrastructure projects including bridge works. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong problemsolving skills and ability to address challenges proactively. Experience with constructionrelated software and tools along with excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite. Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and make decisions quickly and efficiently. Knowledge of UAE safety and construction regulations.
