Job Description
Job Description: XRay / Arc / Rig Welders
Position: XRay / Arc / Rig Welders
Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year
Location: Abu Dhabi
Salary: 70000 per month
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform highquality welding tasks including XRay Arc and Rig welding on various materials and structures.
- Interpret and work from technical blueprints schematics and welding process specifications.
- Ensure precision and adherence to safety and quality standards for all welding operations.
- Conduct inspections to identify welding defects and rectify them effectively.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in optimal working condition.
- Adhere to industry safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete assigned welding projects within the specified timeframe while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers supervisors and team members to execute tasks effectively and address challenges.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding preferred.
- Certification in XRay Arc or Rig welding is mandatory (e.g. ASME or AWS certified welders).
- Proven experience of at least 1 year in a similar role preferably in construction oil & gas or heavy machinery industries.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in XRay Arc and Rig welding techniques.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Knowledge of various welding materials processes and their applications.
- Attention to detail and precision in welding tasks to ensure structural integrity.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments such as at heights or in confined spaces.
- Good understanding of safety standards and practices in the welding industry.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address and resolve welding issues efficiently.
