Architectural Designer

Roles and responsibilities

Experience : 5 - 9 years

Day- to-day operations:

Carry out duties assigned by superior for day-to-day operations and to ensure them to compliance with the established standards and procedures

Prepare Concept design input, preliminary or detail design.

Prepare General arrangement (GA), architectural layouts, detailed production/construction drawings, MTOs and material submittals.

Coordination with drafting personnel for checking and issuing of drawings.

Provide Estimation support.

Preparation of documentation for approval of Class and statutory bodies

Review of vendor technical offers, compliance statements etc.

Participate and provide inputs for 3D modelling.

Review client specifications and prepare clear scope matrix, raise TQ and clarifications

Technical competencies:

Exposure to Drafting & Modelling tools.

Knowledge of Classification Society Rules and Statutory Regulations.

Good coordination and presentation skills.

Ability to develop, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation

Thorough understanding of technical drawings, plans and data.

Possess knowledge of MS Office applications.

Knowledge and experience in ship repair and new building works.
