- Leading the process of creating annual budgets by collaborating with different departments to ensure financial goals align with the organization’s overall strategy.
- Monitoring and controlling expenditures, ensuring departments stay within their allocated budgets.
- Analyzing budget variances and making recommendations for corrective actions if necessary.

Financial Forecasting
- Preparing regular financial forecasts, including cash flow projections, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Analyzing trends and financial data to predict future financial performance and help leadership make informed decisions.

Strategic Financial Planning
- Collaborating with senior management to develop long-term financial plans that support business growth and expansion.
- Evaluating the financial implications of new projects, product launches, and investments.
Financial Reporting and Analysis

Financial Statement Preparation
- Ensuring the accurate preparation of key financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Reviewing financial reports and identifying areas of improvement or concern in the company’s financial health.

Performance Analysis
- Analyzing financial data to assess performance against budgets, forecasts, and previous years.
- Producing financial analysis and reports on profitability, liquidity, operational efficiency, and other key metrics to inform management.

KPI Development and Monitoring
- Identifying and tracking financial KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as ROI, profit margins, and working capital.
- Providing detailed analysis and recommendations based on the organization’s financial performance.
Cash Flow and Liquidity Management

Cash Flow Management
- Overseeing daily cash flow to ensure the business has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
- Ensuring efficient management of working capital by optimizing receivables, payables, and inventory turnover.

Managing Investments and Financing
- Evaluating investment opportunities and providing recommendations on capital expenditures.
Desired candidate profile
Your Responsibilities
Oversee the day to day finances of the family investment office and its related companies, ensuring accuracy of the records.
Prepare budgets, ensure sound cash flow management, and maintain adherence to comprehensive financial planning.
Stay up-to-date with (UAE and international) tax laws and regulations, advising the stakeholders on potential tax implications of regulatory changes in UAE and international on financial decisions.
Prepare regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Collaborate with the wider team, including legal counsel, investment advisors, and other professionals, to ensure effective coordination of all financial matters.
Your Qualifications
Fully qualified accountant (CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years' experience, including experience in dealing with ultra-high net worth individuals.
Demonstrate a high-level understanding of IAS, IFRS, UAE GAAP with familiarity on US GAAP preferred.
