We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to create engaging learning and practice experiences for learners.
The primary objective is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and captivating manner.
As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing instructional materials, incorporating instructional design principles and technologies within an LMS platform. Your expertise in curriculum development and instructional strategies will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences.
Ultimately, the role will contribute to the success of learners by fostering their growth and development through well-designed and impactful instructional programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning journey of individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
- Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
- State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
- Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
- Maintain project documentation, course folders in and outside of the LMS platform
The Person
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: instructional design, education, instructional technology, or a related field or 3 years in-role experience
- Proficient in Articulate 360 or similar SCORM software creator
- Design skills within the Adobe suite for PDFs, image design
- Familiarity knowledge and understanding of LMS systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer
- Excellent English language skills

Typical Responsibilities of a Learning Experience Designer
- Designing and developing engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of learners.
- Collaborating with content experts to curate educational materials.
- Developing instructional content for various formats (e.g., eLearning modules, instructor-led training).
- Creating assessments and evaluations to measure learner success.
- Implementing learning technologies (e.g., LMS, eLearning authoring tools) to deliver content.

Work Environment
- Learning Experience Designers work in a variety of settings, including corporate training departments, eLearning companies, universities, non-profit organizations, and consultancies.
