Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

The Creative Manager for Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment and Studio Distribution leads the design team in creating high-quality visuals and brand content, ensuring consistent delivery across various media platforms. This role involves collaborating on diverse design projects, managing workloads, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. The Creative Manager will serve as the main point of contact for design-related inquiries, overseeing both internal and external stakeholders' expectations.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Lead and manage the design team, overseeing a range of graphic design projects, ensuring each task meets quality standards and aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Assign design tasks and manage team workloads to ensure timely project completion while upholding quality standards.
  • Act as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding design projects, aligning expectations, and providing regular project updates to ensure satisfaction.
  • Work closely with various departments across Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment and Studio Distribution to clearly articulate design requirements and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and develop creative campaigns that support Majid Al Futtaim’s brand image and Studio Distribution releases.
  • Ensure all designs are within brand guidelines, maintaining brand consistency across various touchpoints and content formats (digital, print, and social media).
  • Ensure that all design deliverables maintain content security standards, especially for high-value or exclusive brand assets.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, addressing team conflicts effectively and supporting professional growth within the design team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field.
  • Overall experience of 6-8 years of professional graphic design experience across diverse contexts, including print, digital, exhibits and environments.
  • Experience with in-house graphic design or agency.
  • Experience managing multiple projects from conception to dissemination.
  • Exceptional organizational, supervisory, and communication skills.

    • Oversee the creative direction for projects across multiple channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
    • Collaborate with senior management to ensure creative direction aligns with company goals.

    • Manage a team of designers, copywriters, illustrators, and other creatives, ensuring high-quality output.
    • Provide mentorship, feedback, and professional development to creative team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and creative working environment to encourage idea generation and innovation.
  • Project Oversight and Execution

    • Oversee multiple creative projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and product teams to integrate creative concepts with broader business strategies.
    • Ensure that creative concepts are executed consistently and meet the desired quality standards.
  • Brand Consistency

    • Ensure that all creative materials and messaging align with brand guidelines and reinforce the brand identity.
    • Monitor and maintain brand consistency across all platforms and campaigns.
    • Make adjustments to creative materials when necessary to reflect shifts in brand strategy or audience preferences.
  • Client or Stakeholder Interaction

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders or clients to understand their creative needs and provide solutions.
    • Present creative concepts and ideas, incorporating feedback to refine and improve the creative output.
    • Manage relationships with external creative agencies or freelancers as needed.
  • Budget Management

    • Manage budgets for creative projects, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
    • Track project expenses and ensure that all creative work is delivered within financial constraints.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising creative quality.
