Roles and responsibilities

1. Technical Proficiency in Beauty Treatments

• Skincare Treatments: Expertise in facials, exfoliation, and other skincare routines customized for different skin types and concerns.
• Body Treatments: Proficiency in massages, body scrubs, wraps, and other therapeutic procedures.
• Hair Removal: Skilled in waxing, threading, and other hair removal techniques.
• Nail Care: Providing manicures, pedicures, and nail art services.
• Makeup Application: Knowledge of makeup techniques for different occasions, skin tones, and facial structures.
• Advanced Techniques: Familiarity with modern procedures like microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser hair removal (if certified).

2. Product Knowledge

• Cosmetic Products: Understanding of various beauty and skincare products, their ingredients, and benefits.
• Personalized Recommendations: Advising clients on the best products and routines for their specific needs.

3. Customer Service

• Client Relations: Building rapport with clients to make them feel comfortable and valued.
• Consultation Skills: Conducting thorough consultations to understand client needs and preferences.
• Complaint Handling: Addressing client concerns or dissatisfaction professionally and empathetically.

4. Attention to Detail

• Precision: Ensuring treatments are executed accurately and safely.
• Personalization: Customizing treatments based on client-specific requirements.

5. Hygiene and Safety

• Sanitation: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilizing tools and equipment to ensure client safety.
• Health Awareness: Recognizing skin conditions or medical issues that require referral to a specialist.

6. Interpersonal and Communication Skills

• Listening: Understanding client concerns and preferences.
• Professionalism: Communicating in a friendly yet professional manner, ensuring clients feel respected.

7. Time Management

• Efficiency: Managing appointments and ensuring treatments are completed within the allocated time.

Desired candidate profile

The Beauty Therapist is responsible to provide exceptional facial related beauty services to clients, supporting the offering of personalized care and aesthetic excellence, providing ultimate service satisfaction and relaxation to the client. Increase and drive sales by increasing loyalty and purchase among existing customers but also participate in recruiting new customers.

ROLE PROFILE

• Provide an exceptional customer experience in line with the standards of Majid Al Futtaim.
• Understand the customer requirements and provide the beauty experience to meet and exceed expectations.
• Achieve sales targets in line with Company guidelines.
• Ensure awareness and understanding of product range knowledge, and current in-store promotion details, sharing the information with customers to encourage sales.
• Provide massage and facial treatments in line with Shiseido treatment protocol.
• Provide professional and knowledge on skin type, needs and regimes to enhance customer experience and trust.
• Responsible for cleanliness and hygiene of own workspace, tools and equipment at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

• Beauty products & skin care expertise.
• Customer service skills.
• Selling Skills.
• Recognized beauty qualifications, preferably with CIDESCO and/or CIBTAC certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of related experience in similar role.
• Hospitality 5-star industry, high pace salon work environment or international renowned salon brands.
