Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate the installation maintenance and repair of HVAC electrical and instrumentation systems at oil and gas facilities.
- Lead a team of electricians instrument technicians and HVAC technicians to ensure proper execution of HVAC E&I work as per project specifications and standards.
- Review electrical and instrumentation drawings blueprints and specifications for HVAC systems and provide guidance to the workforce.
- Ensure the correct installation and configuration of HVAC electrical components including wiring controls sensors and automation systems.
- Oversee the installation and testing of control systems (e.g. PLCs DCS) associated with HVAC operations ensuring their proper functionality and integration.
- Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues in HVAC systems identify defects and recommend necessary repairs or modifications.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations company policies and industry standards (e.g. ATEX IEC) for electrical and instrumentation work in hazardous environments.
- Plan and schedule work activities allocate resources and ensure that the team completes tasks within deadlines.
- Perform inspections and testing to verify that HVAC E&I systems meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Maintain documentation of work performed including maintenance logs inspection reports and job completion records.
- Coordinate with project engineers contractors and other departments to ensure smooth execution of work and effective communication across teams.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in HVAC electrical and instrumentation or a related technical field is preferred.
- 710 years of experience in HVAC electrical and instrumentation work with at least 35 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry is required including familiarity with sitespecific regulations and safety protocols.
- Proven experience leading teams in the installation maintenance and repair of HVAC systems in industrial or oil and gas settings.
