Job Description
Purchasing officer has to manage the endtoend Procurement Process sourcing vendors negotiating for the best prices and payment terms follow up with vendor on the pending POs and coordinating with warehouse Project Management team for smooth delivery of the inventories.
- Preparation of PR based on internal requests
- Sending and following up with the suppliers for the Purchase Orders
- Material ETA to update the Account Manager / Project Managers
- Supporting on the internal order logging
- To assist Purchasing teams day to day proceedings.
- To interact with freight forwarders for best deal
- To Maintain the files and datas as per ISO standard using Mfiles.
- Vendor management
- Contract administration
Qualifications :
- Minimum: Bachelor Degree (commerce preferred)
- Desired: Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g. CIPS)
