Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop/Garage Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance and repair as well as excellent managerial and organizational skills. As the Workshop/Garage Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop and garage ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a team of mechanics and technicians providing guidance and support as needed
Must Have an experience of dealing with UAE Insurance companies.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced
Monitor and control inventory levels ordering supplies and parts as needed
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects
Stay uptodate with industry developments and advancements in automotive technology
Manage budget and expenses for the workshop/garage
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (Within UAE) preferably in a workshop or garage setting
Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair techniques
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
Proficient in using computer software for recordkeeping and inventory management
Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and standards
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Fluency in English Arabic is a plus
