Roles and responsibilities
Responsible for :
- Preparation of site specific Quality plan
- Preparation of method statement / ITP and installation checklists based on project specifications, approved material submittals and approved drawings.
Key Accountability 2: Initiation of Inspection requests
Responsible for :
- Plan the site inspection, following up the installation progress on daily basis
- Drive site team to close out and handing over the work as per project program, making sure that all areas has been handed over to client.
- Initiate inspections on installation works in line with construction schedule
- Maintenance of tracking logs for the same .
- Issuance of inspection snags raised by consultant to site team to ensure approval of raised inspection requests
- Prepare action plan to close out all rejected IRs.
Key Accountability 3: Closure of NCRs
Responsible for :
- Maintenance of tracking logs for NCR’s raised by the consultant
- Issuance of action plan to close non-conformance to site team to ensure closure of the same
Key Accountability 4: Closeout documentation
Responsible for :
- Compilation of as built / Warranty certificates / Manufacturers data sheets / Commissioning reports etc.
- Preparation of O &M manuals
- Training and training manuals
- Compilation of client snags and coordinating for closeout of the same
Key Accountability 5: Reporting
Responsible for :
- Weekly report to project manager showing the progress of IRs, NCRs and handing over documentation.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of QA / QC framework and documentation
- English reading and writing skills
- Basic computer literacy and knowledge in MS-Excel
- Knowledge of MEP installations.
Desired candidate profile
1. Quality Assurance (QA):
- Process Development and Improvement: Design, implement, and improve quality assurance processes, systems, and procedures to ensure products meet the required standards and specifications.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure that the organization’s processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations, CE marking, GMP).
- Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks in the production process and design preventive measures to mitigate them. Develop risk management plans and strategies to minimize defects.
- Documentation and Procedures: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for QA procedures, ensuring they align with organizational and industry standards. This includes preparing standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and quality manuals.
- Training and Support: Train and mentor production staff, engineers, and other employees in quality standards, processes, and the importance of quality assurance practices. Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
2. Quality Control (QC):
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct routine inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify they meet the required specifications and quality standards. This may include visual inspections, measurements, functional testing, and destructive or non-destructive testing.
- Defect Identification: Identify product defects or deviations from quality standards and work with the production team to correct them. Use quality control tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Pareto analysis, SPC) to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Sample Testing: Select samples for quality testing, ensuring the sample size and method are statistically valid for quality analysis.
- Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and document any non-conformance incidents (i.e., when products or processes do not meet the established standards). This includes managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), analyzing root causes, and driving corrective actions.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data on quality control test results, product performance, and process efficiency. Generate reports on quality performance and suggest improvements based on findings.
3. Continuous Improvement:
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize production and quality control processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product quality. This may involve implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Audit and Reviews: Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality systems, procedures, and regulations. Participate in external audits by regulatory bodies or customers and implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Customer Feedback: Review customer complaints and feedback related to product quality, working closely with customer service and production teams to address quality issues and improve customer satisfaction.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Quality Metrics: Track and report on key quality metrics such as defect rates, test results, and customer returns. Present regular reports to management on the status of quality initiatives, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Documentation Control: Ensure that all quality-related documentation is accurately maintained and readily accessible for audits, inspections, and process improvements.
