Roles and responsibilities
The Coffee man is responsible for ensuring that all guests arriving to the hotel have a warm welcome and following the hotel brand standard on serving Arabic coffee with dates and/ or any other amenity. Other roles may include escorting the guest to the restaurants or guiding the guest direction when needed.
Responsibilities
Departmental:
- Serving Arabic coffee in a professional and traditional way.
- Serving dates in a professional and traditional way.
- Responsible to maintain the cleanliness of the lobby and ensure dates and Arabic coffee is refilled.
- Making sure that during duty coffee and dates are always available in stock.
- Assist guests with questions about property/area and provide them with any logistical advice.
- Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service.
- Being aware of important guests ensure to welcome them.
- Overlooking the lobby area if guests need assistance direction.
Colleague Relations
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and address any conflicts or issues that arise.
- Maintain open communication channels with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and colleague satisfaction.
- Participate in regular meetings with management and staff to discuss operational updates, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as a role model demonstrating humility, empathy, integrity, and a commitment to service excellence.
Guest Relations
- Warmly engage and converse with guests while serving coffee and dates as well as any other amenity.
- Ensure customer satisfaction in accordance to the applicable MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences (LQEs).
- Create WOW moments to surprise and delight in house guests.
- Listen to any customer complaints and if possible, resolve them effectively and otherwise refer to the manager in charge.

Skills And Qualifications
- High School qualification or equivalent.
- Being able to make Arabic coffee with the right blends.
- Minimum experience of 1 year as a Coffee man in a luxury setting environment.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic; Other languages are preferred.
- Able to communicate clearly with colleagues and guests.
- Mature and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to stand for a long period of time, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.
