Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Sharjah UAE (with regional oversight)

Job Purpose:
As an HR Business Partner at the company you will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to deliver strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals foster a highperformance culture and support the company s growth in UAE Oman and emerging markets. You will be responsible for employee engagement talent development workforce planning and ensuring best HR practices are implemented across various departments and project locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Partnering
Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and implement HR strategies that support overall business goals.
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HRrelated matters including performance management employee relations and organizational changes.
Conduct regular HR needs assessments to anticipate HR needs manage workforce planning and support succession planning.
2. Talent Management & Development
Oversee endtoend talent management processes including recruitment onboarding performance evaluation and career development.
Develop and implement employee development programs to address skill gaps foster career growth and retain top talent.
Partner with department heads to identify highpotential employees provide coaching and design development pathways.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
Design and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement job satisfaction and organizational culture.
Organize employee engagement events and conduct regular employee surveys to gather feedback assess engagement levels and drive improvement actions.
Act as an ambassador for GWT s values promoting a positive and inclusive workplace.
4. Policy & Compliance Management
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with UAE labor laws and regulations including those applicable in other operating regions (e.g. Oman).
Regularly update HR policies employee handbooks and codes of conduct to ensure relevance and adherence to industry standards.
Support managers in implementing policies and maintaining consistent fair employee relations practices.
5. Compensation & Benefits Administration
Work with HR leadership to design competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain talent.
Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs and resolve any issues related to payroll benefits or grievances.
Monitor market trends and provide insights to ensure GWT s packages remain competitive within the water treatment industry.
6. HR Metrics & Reporting
Analyze HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates recruitment metrics and training ROI) and provide insights to drive datadriven HR decisions.
Prepare regular reports on HR activities employee statistics and project staffing updates for senior management.
Develop and track KPIs to evaluate HR effectiveness and inform ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field. A Master s degree or HR certification (e.g. SHRMCP CIPD) is a plus.
Experience: 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role ideally in the engineering water treatment or construction industries.
Skills:
Strong understanding of UAE labor laws with experience in the GCC region preferred.
Proficiency in HR systems data analytics and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal communication and conflictresolution skills.
Strategic mindset with a proven track record in talent management employee engagement and HR compliance.
