Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our efforts to minimize risk ensure compliance with legal and corporate policies and sustainability manage our environmental impact. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Lead internal audits and inspections to ensure consistent adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with management to develop strategies for minimizing environmental impact.
- Organize HSE training sessions for employee to enhance safety culture throughout the organization.
- Manage incident investigations and prepare detailed reports on findings.
- Stay abreast of new regulations and best practices in the industry to improve our HSE protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in environmental science or safety engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HSE roles within concrete readymix or cement manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risk and devise realistic solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to train and influence others regarding safety and environmental compliance.
