Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of our projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using CAD software ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and make necessary adjustments to designs.
- Review and analyze structural designs for compliance with codes and standards.
- Create and maintain project documentation including drawings specifications and change orders.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and verify measurements.
- Communicate effectively with team members subcontractors and clients to address any designrelated issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends materials and software advancements.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Structural Draftsman in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Revit etc.) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
