Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bell Attendant - Concierge in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Responsible for greeting and assisting guests with their luggage and other needs upon arrival and departure.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and provide excellent customer service, anticipate guests' needs, and make recommendations for activities and dining options.
  • Open the car door for all guests arriving or leaving from the main entrance of the property in a polite and courteous manner and greet them with a warm smile to provide a warm welcome to guests on arrival and departure.
  • Coordinate constantly with the Front Office and Valet to escort guests to their rooms and demonstrate to them the room facilities and features.
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, as well as transporting and collecting it from the guest room, while ensuring that no luggage or personal items are damaged.
  • Deliver any messages, parcels, mail, newspapers, and other items as requested to a guest room, always verifying the guest’s name and room number to ensure everything is delivered appropriately and on time.
  • Identify and assist with security matters as a first point of call for guests checking into the SBU to ensure any security risks are minimized.
  • Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions, enabling delivery of luxurious service to guests in line with Jumeirah's standard of excellence.



About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a luxury 5-star resort.
  • Prior work experience in Dubai is preferred.
  • Clear and effective communication skills in English, additional language is an advantage.

  • Guest Assistance: Greeting guests upon arrival and departure, offering a warm welcome and providing information about hotel services.

  • Luggage Handling: Assisting guests with their luggage, including loading and unloading bags, and ensuring they are transported to and from their rooms safely.

  • Room Orientation: Accompanying guests to their rooms, explaining hotel amenities, and ensuring that they are comfortable and settled.

  • Transportation Coordination: Arranging transportation for guests, such as taxis or shuttles, and providing information about local attractions and services.

  • Valet Services: If applicable, managing valet parking services, ensuring vehicles are parked and retrieved efficiently.

  • Maintaining Lobby Area: Keeping the lobby and entrance areas clean and organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

  • Handling Requests: Responding to guest requests, such as providing extra towels, delivering items to rooms, or assisting with special arrangements.

  • Security Awareness: Being vigilant about guest safety and security, reporting any suspicious activities or concerns to management.

  • Collaboration: Working closely with other hotel staff, including front desk personnel and housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest experiences.

  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guest interactions are positive and memorable.
