Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Job Description

  • Minimum Certification in Maintenance Engineering or related Technical field.
  • Minimum of 1 -2 years’ experience in a similar position in a 5-star hospitality company.
  • Good knowledge of preventive maintenance of Hotel assets.
  • Order Taking: Receive and accurately process orders from guests, whether through phone calls, in-room tablets, or menus provided in the room.
  • Food Preparation: Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure that food and beverages are prepared according to guest specifications and hotel standards.
  • Delivery: Deliver orders to guests’ rooms promptly and professionally, ensuring the correct items are served and maintaining a courteous demeanor.
  • Presentation: Ensure that food and beverages are presented attractively, adhering to the hotel's quality standards.
  • Billing and Payments: Process payments or charge orders to the guests' accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests to provide exceptional service, addressing any special requests or concerns they may have.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain cleanliness in the room service area and adhere to health and safety regulations during food preparation and delivery.
  • Essential Skills:

  • Customer Service Orientation: A strong focus on providing a positive and memorable experience for guests.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication for taking orders and interacting with guests.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in processing orders and ensuring food quality and presentation.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple orders and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time Management: Ensuring timely delivery of orders to enhance guest satisfaction.
