Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team in the Architecture & Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in structural design and engineering with a strong understanding of construction principles and materials. As a Structural Design Engineer you will be responsible for creating and implementing structural designs conducting site visits to assess structural integrity and collaborating with architects and construction teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement structural designs for various construction projects
- Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with architects and construction teams to ensure designs are executed according to specifications
- Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed structural drawings and plans
- Perform calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and safety
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in structural design and engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in structural design and engineering
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Revit or similar programs
- Strong understanding of construction principles and materials
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in structural design and engineering
