Gypsum Worker Drywall Installer Gypsum Board Installer

The Company of our client is expanding into new projects. Therefore our client is looking to employ sed and experienced professionals. We are seeking a sed and experienced Gypsum Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing repairing and finishing gypsum boards (drywall) in various residential and commercial projects. The Gypsum Worker will ensure that walls ceilings and other surfaces are properly covered leveled and prepared for painting or finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

Install drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs ensuring secure attachment with screws or nails.

Ensure joints between boards are properly aligned and prepared for taping and finishing.

Apply tape and joint compound over seams and screw heads and sand down surfaces to achieve a smooth finish.

Repair or replace damaged drywall ensuring a seamless appearance.

Install corner beads trims and other components as required.

Prepare and smooth surfaces for painting wallpapering or other finishing processes.

Collaborate with other trades (painters carpenters electricians) to ensure smooth project completion.

Follow safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Inspect completed work to ensure highquality results and compliance with project specifications

Qualifications and Ss

Proven experience as a Gypsum Worker or Drywall Installer.

Proficient in using cutting tools taping knives drywall saws and sanders.

Knowledge of different types of gypsum board and their uses in various settings (fireresistant moistureresistant etc.).

Strong attention to detail and precision in measurement and installation.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints sketches and technical plans.

Good physical strength and stamina for lifting cutting and installing drywall.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Education and Certifications

Education and Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in drywall installation or related field is a plus.

Certification in construction safety or relevant trades training is beneficial.

Work Environment

Ability to work in residential commercial or industrial settings depending on project needs.

Comfortable working on scaffolding ladders or other elevated surfaces.

Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials sometimes in confined or high spaces.

Willing to work in various weather conditions and environments if required.
