Job Description
Job Title: Shopify FrontEnd Web Developer
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Shopify FrontEnd Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a seamless and engaging user experience for our Shopify store while ensuring the website is optimized for speed performance and conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customize and optimize Shopify themes to align with brand identity and business goals.
- Collaborate with designers content creators and marketing teams to bring designs and functionalities to life on the Shopify platform.
- Implement frontend development best practices including responsive design crossbrowser compatibility and mobilefirst approaches.
- Optimize website performance for speed user experience and SEO compliance.
- Integrate thirdparty apps and custom features into the Shopify store to enhance functionality.
- Ensure the website remains uptodate with the latest web technologies Shopify features and industry trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues related to layout usability or performance.
- Implement and manage conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies A/B testing and analytics tracking.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to Shopify themes and pages ensuring the website runs smoothly across all devices.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and create custom functionalities.
- Stay informed of Shopifys latest updates features and ecosystem improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and Liquid (Shopifys templating language).
- Experience with Shopify theme development including modifications to existing themes and creating custom ones.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and UX/UI principles.
- Familiarity with Shopifys app ecosystem and the ability to customize app functionalities.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify and web performance optimization.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Shopify Plus.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
