Our client a leading engineering and construction company in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed piping designs and layouts for various projects in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed piping designs and layouts for various projects in the oil and gas industry ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications

Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design concepts and solutions

Prepare 2D and 3D models drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software

Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements for design purposes

Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients and project managers

Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to construction teams

Ensure that all designs are in compliance with safety regulations and standards

Keep uptodate with industry trends and advancements in piping design technology

Communicate effectively with team members clients and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design for the oil and gas industry

Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software

Knowledge of industry standards and codes such as ASME ANSI and API

Strong understanding of piping systems materials and components

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills

Willingness to travel for site visits and project assignments
