Job Description

The Merchandiser Planner is a key role responsible for the efficient planning coordination and of the production process from order intake to delivery. This position requires a strong understanding of textile manufacturing production planning and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning: Analyze sales data market trends and customer forecasts to develop accurate production plans.
  • Production Planning: Create detailed production schedules assigning resources and materials to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Capacity Planning: Monitor production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials workinprogress and finished goods to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to quality standards.
  • Order Management: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently communicating order details to relevant departments.
  • Cost Control: Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure product compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to track production performance identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
  • ProblemSolving: Proactively identify and resolve production issues minimizing disruptions to the production process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Textiles Apparel Manufacturing Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of number years of experience in textile manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of textile production processes and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
