IIB Support Consultant

We are seeking a skilled IIB (IBM Integration Bus) Support Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Connect and API management. The ideal candidate will provide technical support troubleshooting and maintenance of integration solutions using IBM IIB ensuring smooth operation of the API ecosystem. They will also collaborate with development teams to resolve complex integration issues and ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daytoday support for IBM Integration Bus (IIB) environments including monitoring incident resolution and performance tuning.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration and API issues.
  
• Manage and support IBM Connectbased integrations ensuring stability and security.
  
• Deploy and manage APIs in IBM IIB monitoring API performance and resolving any failures or inconsistencies.
  
• Assist in the implementation of new integration solutions and API services ensuring alignment with business needs.
  
• Perform root cause analysis for system failures and propose preventive measures to avoid future outages.
  
• Maintain system documentation including troubleshooting guides best practices and operational processes.
  
• Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the seamless integration of systems.
  
• Participate in oncall support rotation and assist in major incident management.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 years of experience in IIB (IBM Integration Bus) support.
  
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise with IBM Connect and API Management.
    
  • Experience in integration deployment and troubleshooting using IBM IIB.
    
  • Knowledge of middleware solutions and integration patterns.
    
  • Familiarity with WebSphere MQ DataPower and related IBM middleware technologies.
    
  • Understanding of RESTful and SOAPbased web services.
    
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
    
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problemsolving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
    
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
    

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud integration platforms (e.g. IBM Cloud).
  
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools.
  
• Certification in IBM Integration Bus or related technologies.
