Supermarket Cashier

Responsibilities:

• Operate the cash register scan products and process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash credit and debit card payments efficiently.
• Assist customers with their purchases providing exceptional customer service.
• Bag groceries and ensure the items are packed carefully.
• Resolve any pricing discrepancies or customer inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Monitor and manage the cash drawer ensuring accuracy at the start and end of each shift.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness as needed.
• Adhere to store policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong math and numerical skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Trustworthy reliable and able to handle cash responsibly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
