Job Description

  • To work within the nutrition and dietetics team at King’s College Hospital (KCH) Dubai.
  • To provide highly specialist advice, education and support to patients and carers.
  • To work within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and advise physicians, nursing staff and other health professionals on the dietetic management of patients.
  • To be responsible for providing specialist nutritional care within paediatrics, including assessment, nutrition therapy and monitoring to patients and their carers.
  • To act as an expert resource for the management of paediatric patients and educate and train health care professionals within the organisation when required.
  • To maintain professional accountability for own caseload, working autonomously in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings including the patient’s own home when appropriate.
  • To work closely with the catering team to ensure the nutrition needs of hospital patients are met and maintained.
  • To contribute to nutrition and dietetic policy development within the specialist area of paediatrics.
  • To provide the best possible experience for patients, carers and families.
