Job Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for managing the human resources department ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and fostering a positive work environment. The role involves overseeing recruitment employee relations performance management training and development compliance with labor laws and strategic HR planning to support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting testing and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
- Ensures planning monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
- Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies
- Assess training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing updating and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintains human resource staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training employees.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the companys goals.
- Participate in organizational change initiatives and support leadership in managing change.
- Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning monitoring and appraising job results.
- Any other activities assigned by ED/CEO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in HR management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strategic thinking and problemsolving skills.
