One of our leading clients in the B2B jewellery sourcing and supply industry in the UAE is seeking an experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in accounting and financial management with specific experience in the UAE. This role requires strong attention to detail organizational skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Dubai UAE

Salary: AED 5000 per month

Industry: Jewellery

Experience: 2 years (UAE experience mandatory)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations including VAT and other tax filings.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Support monthend and yearend closing processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decisionmaking.
• Maintain accurate records of jewellery inventory and transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards VAT and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
