Job Description

Position Overview The Commercial Lawyer is part of a team that provides high-level contract management advice and support to staff and management of the FCA, FCFCOA and National Native Title Tribunal. The role is responsible for the delivery of solutions focussed independent advice in relation to a wide range of commercial matters to support the achievement of organisational outcomes and address legal risk. The role provides advice on a range of legal matters across the organisation to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and legislation. The Commercial Lawyer ensures contracts and agreements provide value for money for the Courts and Tribunal through competitive market testing and rationalisation of service provision.
