- Conceive, develop, and launch market leading products and services and strategically plan and manage the entire product portfolio.
- Develop short & long-term product roadmaps, inclusive of functional perspective of evolving features/capabilities, consolidated views of related technology activities, & business case analysis.
- Collate client feedback/segmentation analysis, overall industry/market trends & regulatory intelligence gathering to drive product & procedure enhancements.
- Develop & communicate product strategy, roadmap prioritization, P&L management, and cost & revenue analyses. Design & execute actions to reduce costs/manual processes, enhance revenues, and maximize profitability.
- Drive efficiency – Provide leadership/design end-to-end solutions to meet business & client objectives.
- Own product life cycles from development to launch. Look for ways to innovate upon the existing products. Ensure that ongoing product innovation and development meets strategic and financial objectives.
- Establish and conduct management processes – product management meetings, monthly internal financial reviews, and weekly Operations, Technology and Sales meetings.
- Ensure a pristine risk and control environment and lead Continuity of Business efforts. Oversee all aspects of product-risk-related projects and initiatives. Represent business in all internal and external audit discussions.
- Take part in effort with Operations and Technology to digitize existing products to gain efficiency and market expansion.
- Participate & lead in internal partnership meetings & discussions, cooperating with, responding to, and remediating findings related to audits, vendor management, compliance with regulatory & compliance issues/updates, and risk management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (including risk, legal, AML, technology, QA, design, marketing, etc.) to execute on initiatives.
- Develop and enhance customer centric product delivery processes.
- Support development and implementation of a product management strategy according to the company strategy, set goals, and initiate measures to reach these goals and to improve the overall section’s performance.
- Be responsible for a result-oriented management and development of people and resources, including provision of a strong day-to-day leadership presence involving resource allocation, monitoring, reporting, and conducting regular staff meetings.
- Initiate, develop, implement, and ensure adherence of policies and procedures.
- Build and implement Product Marketing/Branding Strategy.
- Be responsible for all product related issues within the whole organization, in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- Solid partnering skills, including organization understanding (working seamlessly across formal and informal channels) and balancing aggressive drive with consensus building and listening.
- Knowledge of the processes necessary to develop, roll-out and manage products in order to support successful banking and financial product life cycles.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment and competitive situation.
- Professional know-how necessary to plan and manage budgets, run a department, campaign, or project.
- Knowledge of skills associated with the tools and techniques of planning and running organization projects and processes.
