Joinery Production Manager

As a Joinery Production Manager you will oversee the entire production process ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves managing a team of skilled carpenters painters general workers while coordinating with other departments and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead and supervise the production team including joiners carpenters and other staff.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Joinery Production Manager or similar role.

Indepth knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and techniques.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in production management software and tools.

Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production environment.

You will work closely with our sales, design, and production teams to assess project requirements, analyze costs, and prepare comprehensive estimates that align with our quality standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities - Project Evaluation: Assess project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand the scope of work. Material and Labor Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of materials, labor costs, and other relevant factors to determine accurate project estimates. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, design, and production teams to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimating. Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit well-organized and competitive bids in a timely manner, meeting project deadlines. Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and availability. Value Engineering: Collaborate with the design and production teams to suggest cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality. Documentation: Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
