Roles & Responsibilities
Rotating equipment technicians need to have a combination of technical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills. They are responsible for:
· Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of rotating machinery, such as pumps, Gas Centrifugal compressors, Integral Gear compressor, Screw Compressors, Gas turbines, fans, and generators.
· Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on rotating equipment.
· Diagnosing and correcting malfunctions, defects, and failures of rotating equipment.
· Replacing or repairing worn or damaged parts, such as bearings, seals, impellers, and shafts.
· Testing and commissioning rotating equipment after installation or repair.
· Following safety procedures and standards when working with rotating equipment.
· Documenting and reporting the work done and the results obtained
