Job Description
We are currently looking for a Consultant in Breast Radiology for the Dubai location.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Delivering highquality diagnostic and intervention breast radiology services
- Ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the national screening program through rigorous oversight
- Effective educator for residents and students ensuring their growth and development
Critical Competencies:
- Perform the full spectrum of breast imaging modalities: This competency encompasses mammograms ultrasounds and MRIs demonstrating a wellrounded skillset for comprehensive breast evaluation.
- Conduct MRIguided breast biopsies with accuracy and precision: This competency highlights the ability to perform a complex interventional procedure safely and effectively.
- Utilize imageguided wire localization for breast lesions: This competency emphasizes the skill of precisely locating suspicious lesions for biopsy.
- Supervise and interpret contrastenhanced mammograms independently: This competency showcases the ability to lead and oversee a specific imaging technique while independently analyzing complex results.
Requirements
To be considered you need to meet the following requirements:
- MBBS/MB ChB or equivalent.
- FRCPath / American board/ Canadian board/ Australian board/ South African board or evidence of equivalent qualification (Tier 1)
- Full registration (and a license to practice) as a consultant (or eligible for registration within six months of interview)
- 5 Years Experience in the same capacity.
- Clinical and Academic Experience in a known University Hospital
