Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to efficiently room patients, collect vitals, conduct blood pressure tests, and screen patients based on specific questions from the provider. Responsibilities also include documenting health information in Electronic Medical Records (Athena), completing urine screens for drug testing, assigning patient specimen cups, obtaining specimens, bagging and labeling samples, preparing them for shipment, setting up injection trays for physicians, and potentially giving injections or taking blood samples.

This is a fully on-site position in North Brunswick Township, New Jersey.
Work Environment
This position operates in a fast-paced pain management office. Work hours are typically 8AM - 5PM, Monday to Friday, with potential flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. The role involves traveling between two locations in North Brunswick and Hamilton Township, NJ. The candidate will room 20-30 patients on a full day, many of whom are returning patients. Medical Assistants will receive a weekly schedule for their designated location for that day. Dress code includes dark solid scrubs and closed-toe shoes.
