Job Description
- Develop detailed electrical design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for offshore platforms and associated facilities.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of electrical designs with project requirements and standards.
- Perform electrical calculations, such as load analysis, voltage drop, and cable sizing.
- Review and interpret project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, API, NEMA).
- Conduct design reviews and participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate electrical design activities with other disciplines.
- Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and drafters.
