PURPOSE OF THE JOBS:
The Lead Piping Engineer will oversee the design and implementation of piping systems for onshore Oil & Gas projects ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards. This role provides technical leadership ensures project quality and safety and mentors junior engineers to enhance team performance and project success.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the piping engineering team in the design development and implementation of piping systems for onshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Oversee the preparation of piping layouts isometric drawings and material specifications in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure all piping engineering activities are executed in alignment with project schedules budgets and client specifications.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on design documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines project managers and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and resolve technical issues providing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and safety.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with ADNOC standards and regulations.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Prepare and present technical reports proposals and project updates to stakeholders.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available to join immediately.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Piping Engineering or a related field. A masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 1520 years of experience in piping engineering with a strong focus on onshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Proven experience with ADNOC projects is mandatory.
- Indepth knowledge of piping design software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD PDMS SP3D).
- Strong understanding of industry standards codes and regulations (e.g. ASME API).
- Excellent leadership communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
